Paula Hegberg

Paula's roots run deep in Nebraska. She grew up on a dairy and crop farm, where milking cows, baling hay, raising animals and driving tractors taught her the value of hard work, teamwork and caring for others. She graduated from Elmwood High School and attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she was honored to play on the Husker volleyball team. Today she lives on an acreage south of Hickman with her husband, her 95-year-old mother, and about 100 chickens and guineas. She enjoys gardening, watching the wildlife that visits the acreage, and spending time with her two children and three grandchildren.

Helping others has been a constant thread through Paula's life and career. She listens carefully, gives clear and practical guidance, and follows through. Clients know they can reach her, that she'll be straight with them, and that she'll stay with them after the paperwork is done. She genuinely enjoys helping people solve problems and get to peace of mind.

She is especially passionate about estate planning and trusts, because they give clients confidence that their assets will go to the people they intend. A good plan helps families avoid conflict and preserve what they've built — and helping provide that security is what gives her work its purpose.
